BRICK LANE

Saturday.

After breakfast at Pret we met up with Sofia and her friend Elin who only lived at a hotel a few minutes away from ours. Together we went to Brick Lane, one of my all time favourite areas, to have a look at the ever changing walls.

I thought that I would be able to leave London without a pair of shoes but I was wrong.

I’ve been wanting a pair of pointy boots for quite a while but always thought that they’ve been too pricy or not really the perfect pair. These beauties are in fact the perfect pair and they were on sale for the small amount of thirty five pounds, such a steal!

They’re more exactly this pair from Topshop and they’re called Almighty.

Parts of Notting Hill.

APPLE

Almost as soon as the pay check arrived it disappeared again.

Actually, I’ve been in need of a new computer for almost a year. Since graduating I’ve been using an old revived one that was dated since a year before that. When I received this month’s pay slip I counted on it a bit and decided that I would afford to buy a new computer and still survive all of May.

This is my first MacBook and I’m already in love.

In Notting Hill someone sold preserves by their front porch and made me smile. I really hope that people are honest enough to actually pay for it and bring the jar back if possible.

Let's take a short break from the London posts.

I had a work interview in the city the other day and after I had some time to kill before my train and decided to buy a magazine that I’d never bought before.

Said and done, I ended up with the Swedish magazine Bon. I’ve only had the time to have a peek on the first pages but it’s promising! I do visit their website every now and then and one of my favourite bloggers is blogging for them so I don’t think that I’ll be disappointed.

Friday.

Notting Hill doors are probably the most beautiful doors in the world. What I would give to have a front door like one of these, large, old and colourful. 

CHERRY BLOSSOMS

When we arrived in Notting Hill we got greeted by some beautiful cherry blossoms. It’s actually quite sad that they won’t last for more than a couple of weeks.

WHERE I'VE BEEN?

In London!

Elin and I left Thursday noon and came back to Sweden last night. I now got almost seven hundred pictures to go through and edit, these are just a few outtakes from my phone. We’ve been to most of the tourist attractions but also discovered the different areas of London all by our self.

In other words, there’s a lot to look forward to!
