BACK TO SCHOOL

Less than a week ago I got accepted to a course within Strategic Communication called Public Relations & Social Media at Lunds University. I'm having my first lectures on Tuesday and naturally I had to buy a few new things, pencils, pencil case, folders and a case for my glasses. The Marc by Marc Jacobs laptop case have I had for a few months and now I will finally get to use it. (I bought mine through SHOPBOP.)

Since it's a course I'll only be there for about one or two days a week for six months and will be able to continue to work the other days of the week.

OOPS!

Came home today to a package from Acne Studios.

Don't worry, I haven't made that much damage.

THÅSTRÖM

Thursday.

After closing at work I went to Malmö with my uncle & a friend of his to see Thåström for the fourth time. It was as great as ever.

Then I went home, didn't sleep and got up inhumanly early for work again. 

Oh, the contrasts in life.

LAST FEW WEEKS

Got back to work three weeks ago after two short weeks of vacation & have since been too tired to do anything, almost. But here's the past few weeks through mine or my friends phones.

Went on a day trip to Österlen with my mother & my two cousins. Driving an hour or so away from home & finding amazing places really proves that you don't always have to travel far to discover something beautiful & new.

Went to an old fabric to see a musical produced by the local theatre group.

Last friday before work I went to Helsingör in Denmark with my mother, my grandmother & my uncle. I actually bought two bouquets of these lovely peonies.

Quite spontaneously went to see Paper Towns with an old class mate. After the movie I had received a text from another friend whom we met up & had a drink with before heading home for the night.

And finally, last night I met up with an colleague I've become friends with for ice cream in the harbour followed by a late dinner at the newly opened tapas restaurant Pinchos.

ART COUTURE

Art couture by Bea Szenfeld att Dunkers in Helsingborg.

Went to this exhibition with a friend last week and was totally amazed by it. Bea is a Swedish designer who lately have been making a lot of garments in paper, some of them have actually been worn by and in one of Lady Gaga's latest videos. 

BALENCIAGA

Here it is, my Balenciaga bag.

I bought it through a reseller on the Swedish version of Ebay, It’s barely used and came with the original dustbag and recipe from a well known Swedish luxury store. I also got the mirror but I’ve put it inside the front pocket so it won’t get any unnecessary scratches.

It’s perfect and I’m in love.

MIDSUMMER DAY

Midsummer day was a beautiful day. We went canoeing, swimming and heated up the sauna located right by the lake. The sunset was a beautiful end to great midsummer weekend.

MIDSUMMER

In Sweden, around this time of the year, we celebrate midsummer.

This year I went away with my family, their friends, children and our friends to a big house by a lake (where I actually went to camp as a child) for the celebration. After arriving we went canoeing on the lake before going for a walk to pick flowers for the traditional flower crowns and table decoration.

STRIPES

Two days ago I finally got my hands on this timeless piece from Filippa K. I wore it yesterday and it's the most comfortable top I've ever worn.

SHOES

Treated myself a pair of & Other Stories shoes since I had a few coins left after I'd transfered money to my savings accounts.

I promise I'll show them soon.

COFFEE SHOP

Managed to meet up with Elin while in Stockholm and went to the cutest little coffee shop in Gamla Stan with her and my mother.

FIRST RULE

Passed this door somewhere in Stockholm.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Today's my best friends fiftieth birthday, happy birthday to my father!

STOCKHOLM

Tomorrow is my fathers 50th birthday so we decided to spend last weekend in Stockholm to celebrate a bit in advance with a hotel stay and nice dinner.
